Real-Life Rapunzel Andrea has long hair down to her ankles!

I Especially for her, she answered some questions again. Would you like to know what tip Andrea has for you and how she takes care of her long hair? Then don’t forget to read on!

Would you like to tell us something about yourself?

My name is Andrea Colson, I live on the islands of Micronesia in the Pacific Ocean. I am a Christian missionary and live with my family. I love to teach children, I love to sing and play my ukulele, to visit the sick and to talk on our radio station. I also speak our local island language, Chuukese.

How long is your hair at the moment?

My hair is currently somewhere between ankle and floor-length. It is 64 inches long. (That’s 163 cm!)

Do you want your hair to grow longer? If so, what hair length would you like?

I’ve had it for years at ankle length, but I’ve just decided that I want it to grow to the floor. At least, as long as the dots are healthy and of equal length. I’ve always thought it was very important for my hair to be as thick at the bottom as it is at the top.

What kind of hair did you have as a child?

I’ve always had hair, ever since I was a child.

What is your hair routine and what products do you use?

I have an article on my blog about my hair care routine and my favourite products.

What do you do with your hair cut? Do you cut it yourself or do you have someone else cut your hair or don’t you cut it at all?

I’ve never had an extensive haircut, but I do trim the dots. My mother usually does that for me. I’m standing on a chair and she updates the dots.

What do you like most about your hair and is there maybe something you don’t like?

I have an article on my blog with all the things I like about my hair.

Do you have a hair example, something or someone that inspires you to have your hair that long?

I should say… Tangled (the film with Rapunzel). As a child, I also read a story about a girl with hair as thick as her forearm.

Many people are discouraged by hair problems. Have there been any hair problems you’ve encountered or are still encountering? How did you deal with that?

Yes, I do. I also talked about that in an article about inspiring others not to get discouraged.

What kind of tip would you like to give to others who want to grow their hair for a long time?

My favourite long-haired secret is that I eat one tablespoon of peanut butter every day. This helps to make your hair soft, thick and strong. It also helps your hair grow at an incredible rate!
