In Mambo terms, patching Mambo means to upgrade Mambo. Mambo upgrades are released as patches. On this page we look at how to upgrade old releases of Mambo to the last of the Mambo 4.5 branch, which is Mambo 4.5.6.
Patching Mambo to Upgrade to Later Versions
Upgrading Mambo from old versions requires the application of several changes to the MySQL database. These upgrades need to be done incrementally, in the order of each upgrade between your current version of Mambo the the latest release.
