Announcing the Great Mambo Graphics Competition!
Calling all graphic designers and artists! This is your opportunity to showcase your creative skills and to give back to the Mambo community by designing a set of graphics for use with Mambo.
- A banner, 480px x 60px;
- A small banner, 180px x 60px;
- A button, approx 120px x 180px for each of these: Mambo Bug Stomper, Mambo Translation Partner, Mambo Official Host, Mambo Supporter;
- Button for forums, approx 80px x 80px with the words: Friend of Mambo;
- Promotional badge for web sites, no more than 90px x 32px (see the "Powered by Mambo" badges here for inspiration:Mambo Powered)
- Site eye candy. Replacements for the images used in the Mambo package (see here: Internal Graphics)
The Mambo graphics are old and do not properly represent a cutting-edge, modern CMS. You can see the entire range of our graphics in our Artwork space here on the wiki.
Enter the competition now and help create a new, modern, compelling look for Mambo!
The competition will be judged by the community in a poll that will run for two weeks after the close of competition. Competition closes on 15th November and the winners will be announced on 1st December 2008.

How to Enter
- Register an account here on the wiki;
- Click on the Entries link here;
- Add your artwork to your forum post. To do this, simply click on the link to "Add your competition entry" which will create a new page for your entry. Upload your images to the page after selecting the "Attachments" link, and add these to your post in wiki format, eg. ! file name with no spaces between the exclamation marks !
All work must be original.
Note: By registering an account and submitting your graphics you certify that they are your own original work. Should your graphics be chosen for use within the Mambo CMS you will be required to sign the Mambo Contributor Agreement. Your name will be added to the CREDITS that are contained in each Mambo release that uses your images.
